Debbie Eisenberg Merion

Debbie Eisenberg Merion, M.S.W, is the owner of Essay Coaching (essaycoaching.com), which has helped hundreds of students write winning college application essays through individual coaching sessions and workshops for students, parents, and educators.  She wrote College Admissions: From Chaos to Control, A Guide for Students and Families for Solving the College Admissions Puzzle with co-authors John Boshoven, M.S.W, and Geri Markel, Ph.D. in 2008.  Debbie’s students have been admitted to Harvard, Yale, Columbia and other prominent universities. Her techniques combine experience in counseling, teaching college English, and 30 years of professional writing.

John Boshoven

John Boshoven, Community High School Counselor, has received recognition for his "outstanding contributions to" the University of Michigan Counselor Advisory Board. His three-year appointment concluded on November 18th. John's magazine contributions have continued with the Newsweek 11/28/2011 article on the 'Great College Essay Panic." Earlier, Time magazine quoted him in their article about student debt and US News and World Report included his comments in their annual news magazine on "Best Colleges."
