Classes begin week of 4/15 or 4/22.
Iyengar Yoga
Experience invigorating yoga postures using the methods of BKS Iyengar to strengthen the body, create a feeling of well-being, reduce stress, and release tension through physical activity and meditation. You need to be able to get down to and up from the floor. The use of yoga props (provided or bring your own) and individualized teaching are emphasized so students of varying experience, ages, flexibility and strength can participate together. Please bring yoga mat. Instructor: David Rosenberg, certified instructor with over 20 yrs experience.

Pace: Moderate. Intensity: Moderate. Re-balance your body and increase your energy through basic yoga. You will use standing and seated poses, along with breath work to release tension from the body and mind. Basic Yoga is recommended for everybody.

Better Back Yoga
|
Pace: Slow. Intensity: Gentle. Soothe tension throughout your body and strengthen and maintain the health of your spine and back muscles using classic yoga postures and technique. You will learn yoga techniques that will help increase flexibility in tight and restricted muscles and joints that inhibit the use of the spine and strengthen the muscles that support the back. |

| Chair Yoga |
| Level 1-2. Combining breath and movement, chair yoga provides a gentle stretch for your body and brings a sense of clarity to the mind. Learn how to practice yoga sitting in a chair and how to use the chair as support in standing poses. This focus of this class will be on breath work, stretching, strengthening, bringing a greater ease of movement to the joints, and relaxation. This gentle yoga class is open to all abilities. |

| Vinyasa Flow |
| Level 1-3. This flowing form of Hatha Yoga is the most popular yoga in the U.S.! Vinyasa Flow is a great yoga for all levels from beginners to the more advanced practitioners. It integrates the mind, body and breath into one practice. You move through fluid transitional movements, using synchronized breathing, to connect the sustained postures to create heat. This is a challenging and empowering yoga that emphasis breath connection, core strength and body awareness. Please bring a yoga mat. |

Hatha Yoga

Level 1-3. THatha yoga utilizes a combination of postures, breathing techniques, and relaxation to strengthen and purify the body, improve balance, and steady the mind. Through moderately paced poses this gentle yoga class seeks to unify body and mind. It is ideal for those looking to increase their balance, flexibility, and strength. As a good introduction to fundamental yoga poses this class is appropriate for beginners and those seeking a more contemplative pace.
