What is Futsal?

• Futsal in the only indoor soccer game sanctionsed by FIFA
• GREAT for skill development
• Promotes quality touches and precise passing
• 5 players per side
• Unlimited flying substitutions
• Teams use a smaller ball with less bounce
• Kick-ins
• No offsides called
• Safer than walled indoor soccer becauser there are no wall collisions

Players Learn

• Rapid ball control skills
• Effective shielding skills
• Movement off the ball
• Feinting skills
• Defensive techniques

• Futsal leagues are open to children in the first, second, third, fourth and fifth grades
• Teams play 7 games on Satudays in school gyms
• Season begins in mid-January
• Separate leagues for Boys and Girls
• Teams practice on weeknights one night a week
