First time online registration users need to request an account in order to register for classes. All users must be at least 18 to request an account. Only one adult member of a family needs to submit a request for an online account. Confirmation by e-mail usually occurs within 24 hours, excluding weekends and holidays.
Online registration is not available for all classes/activities. Availability can be checked by linking to our online site and selecting the specific class/activity. (Restrictions are listed above the description.) The online process will only accept full class payment by credit card or pre-existing credit on account. Please note that the system will not allow usage of discounts, scholarships or gift certificates for any portion of your payment.

Special Notes:
Currently, not all University of Michigan e-mail users (...@umich.edu) are able to receive any confirmation e-mails from our site. You may still register your account online, but you may need to provide your home e-mail or call (734) 994-2300, ext.0, 24 hours after you register your account to obtain your user ID from a member of our staff.
Address Changes cannot be processed by the customer. Due to the residency verification process all address changes need to be completed by a member of our staff. Please call 734-994-2300 for assistance with your change in address. |

Please note that you will not be able to register for classes online until your account has been approved. You will receive confirmation through your e-mail account.
After receiving a confirmation e-mail for your account, you will be able to continue the online registration process. Click here or the Rec&Ed logo on the top-left of the website to access the class enrollment page.
When you are there, choose your activity to view class details and register. Have your credit card at hand when completing the registration form and payment process. You will receive an e-mail confirmation of class enrollment. Please remember that the online process cannot accept discounts, scholarships, or gift certificates as a method of payment. |
Please Note:
Due to special restrictions, Online Registration may not be available for all Rec & Ed classes/activities. If you choose to register for one of the restricted classes, have a discount, scholarship or gift certificate you wish to use or if online registration does not meet your needs, your registrations will be still be accepted through the mail, in the 24-hour drop box at 1530 Eisenhower Place, Ann Arbor, or by fax. |
