“I feel that Safety Town is one of the most important programs all children should go through. It is a great way to prepare our children for the dangers they could possibly face. I love watching your children grow during the time they are with us. They become more aware of their surroundings and begin to tell us when they see something safe or unsafe. I cannot wait for my own children to be old enough to go through Safety Town! “
My name is Jessica Cruz, director of the Safety Town Program. This is my the third year directing the Safety Town program. I am a graduate of Eastern Michigan University, where I received my Elementary Education and Early Childhood Certification. I taught Kindergarten for one year and I am currently working for Ann Arbor Public Schools as a School Age Child Care Supervisor. I am very excited about this new year of Safety Town and I look forward to meeting you and your children this summer!
