Kidconomics Camp

Pattengill School
Week of August 1 - 5

To ensure that students make sound financial decisons as adults, financial education experts contend that schools and families should start fostering financial literacy before the teen years.
Rick Allen, ASCD Education Update: Vol. 52 #2, Feb. 2009 www. ascd.org

Kids learn fiscal responsibility as they explore money management.
As both CEO and an average customer, kids create their own economic system that includes currency and play at being in charge.

Everyone invents a product to sell to be an entrepreneur.
This camp is a great stimulus package for each child's best economic interests!! Students provide lunch, beverage and snacks.
