Description
- The Instructional League is a "Sign up to Play" league held in Fall & Spring leagues that individuals can register for without having a whole team of their own.
- Spring 2012 Instructional league will start on Monday, March 12, 2012.
- The idea is to play games AND do some drills each week to work on skills, learn strategy and rules so that you can understand and enjoy volleyball more, possibly moving up to a higher league later.
- It's also great for folks who have been out of the game for awhile and want to brush up on their skills.
When
Spring 2012 Monday night Instructional League (6 player Corec teams with Mark Comstock -instructional coach).
Starts 3/12/12 at Slauson Middle School in Ann Arbor and runs 7 weeks (through 4/30/12--no games April 2).
Teams play for one hour each.
Teams play 3 shortened games (usually 18 points) and use the rest of the hour each week for drills and instruction.
Game times are no earlier than 7 and no later than 9:20 each week.
Teams receive an assortment of times on their schedule.
Players are assigned onto teams one week prior to the start of play. Team assignments & schedules are emailed to all registered participants.

The games are at Slauson Middle School on 1019 W. Washington, Ann Arbor, 48103.

You can sign up a whole team, a couple of friends or just yourself.
The cost per individual is $45 for AAPS residents and $48 for those who reside outside the boundaries of the AAPS school district.
Cost for a whole team is $400 (if you have a group of 8-10 who want to play together).
