- Rec & Ed activites and classes are cancelled whenever the Ann Arbor Public Schools are closed due to inclement weather.

- Rec & Ed activities for youth programs, high school students and adults may be cancelled when the Civil Preparedness office issues a severe weather or tornado WARNING.

- When a school building is closed due to power loss or other facility problems, the Rec & Ed activities in that school are cancelled.
